Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) manufacture and supply a diverse range of mining, construction and forestry machinery, including compaction equipment, excavators, dump trucks and wheel loaders.

Oliver Technologies was engaged to design and install a conventional heated downdraft spray booth with bake facility to support painting of heavy construction equipment at the company’s new $60m manufacturing facility in Perth, opened in 2016.

The booth was designed so that it could be used as either one complete 30m spraybooth, or as two individual 15m spraybooths, with either being able to spray or bake at the same time.

The project was delivered over an 8-week installation period utilising local subcontractors.

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) understood that there are not many companies in Australia that can design and build spray booths of this size and complexity. Our previous proven experience in building large scale spray booth projects designed and built in Australia was a key reason why we were chosen for this project.
